Who we are
Wisebit is made by Claudiu Valentin Sararu, an independent developer ("we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy, write to support@wisebit.online.
What the app keeps, and where
Everything Wisebit needs to work stays on your device:
- the topics you picked, your daily goal and your reminder time;
- the cards you have read, saved or answered, your streak, level and stars;
- kids profiles: the name and color you choose for each kid, and their stars and stickers.
None of this is sent to us. We have no server that receives it and no way to see it.
iCloud sync
If iCloud sync is on, Apple keeps a copy of your progress in your own private iCloud database, so it can follow you to your other iPhone or iPad. Only your Apple Account can read that database; we cannot. Apple's privacy policy covers it. You can turn sync off in Wisebit's Settings at any time.
Purchases
Wisebit Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and never shares your payment details with us. The app only asks Apple whether you have Pro, so it can unlock it.
Reminders and the widget
The daily reminder is a notification scheduled on your device. The Fact of the Day widget reads the day's fact from the app on your device. Neither sends anything anywhere.
Children
Kids mode is made for ages 6 to 11 and collects nothing. It has no ads, no purchases and no links out of the app, and its settings stay behind a grown-ups check. A kid's name and progress are stored like everything else: on the device, and in your private iCloud if sync is on. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.
Analytics, ads and tracking
There are none. Wisebit contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
This website
wisebit.online sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our host, Cloudflare, processes the technical data any website visit involves, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. Your data is yours to manage:
- to clear everything in the app, use Settings, then Reset progress;
- to remove the synced copy, delete Wisebit's data in your device's iCloud settings, or turn off iCloud sync;
- deleting the app removes what it stored on that device.

Changes
If we change how Wisebit handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
